this gap thing is a bit unclear, i kinda figured it out tho. its like this: wen u pull the key side, the columns would move to the right if its a locked number.
so basically from left to rite, try pulling until the column ur working on doesn’t move but everything else is.
this took me forever on the bike , i jiggled the thing and it got me mad i wasent thinking of hacksawing it because it looked thick but was out of options. Nearly a quarter of the cable is rubber coat makeing it look big and since there fillament wires i sawed through it in 5min with a crappy hacksaw, trying to hack is a waste for coil locks just saw it
Wow… I made this video 3 years ago and put it on Metacafe. God only knows how it showed up on youtube. And on a lighter note, My voice has since broken
This uses a slightly different technique than I used years ago when I figured out how useless those locks were. Just keep tension on the lock and turn each number until it comes loose. The technique shown here was a little confusing.
#1 description says “any bike lock”, PHAIL it’s just applicable to these crap cylinder locks. If you use one you deserve to get gripped anyway.
#2 it doesn’t even work on ALL cylinder locks as stated, just the really bad ones, that have a lot of slop and are usually made of cast pot metal so weak some can be torn apart with a small screwdriver.
In conclusion I rate this video as utter PHAIL but it has some value for being something to POOP on.
