Nice beginning. Worthless ending. No information on how to properly set up the bearings. When’s it too tight or not tight enough. Etc., etc.

rusty balls, sure sounds like this guy likes to clean his balls.. and others too.

  • rotorman13b says:

That was pretty pathetic in my opinion. He failed to show how to and what to use to clean off the old grease.

If he were to reuse the old balls, the old balls are now magnetized and as it wears over time, metal particles will attract to the balls and the race and thus will greatly increase wear of the hub for that matter.

Lastly, he never showed how to torque the cones back on and how much play to set them to, which is just as important as replacing the old grease in overall maintainability.

why dont you pathetic guys just leave him alone!?
He’s providing information for free and if you dont like it fuck off!

if u dont know how to remove grease, you’re an idiot

  • m0thersuperi0r76 says:

stop, stop and just think about how things work. You think its complicated and hard but its not. To adjust the balls you re grease them because old grease stagnates and gets hard making the flow of your wheel bad. replacing them makes your hub a happy hub. Yes do both sides, its just when you take of the cone you only need to take off one side, and as far as grease goes don’t be an god damn idiot
