bike locks
ABC Puppy asked:

My dad's bike was stolen several weeks ago, and he bought an expensive new one. I heard him saying he would love one, but they are too expensive. Can anyone give me an estimate on how much they cost, and maybe a link to a good one? THANKS!

About 25$ for one of the real good ones but but you can get away with one for about 15$.

my lock cost me almost $250, but when you have a $7400 bike its worth it.

not much get a kryptonite chain lock they are almost imposible to cut through unless u have a torch…but no bike theifs would risk cutting it with a torch since they are very visible and loud
i suggest getting one of these
i use the first one on the page (the 880) and it only costed me $20 for the chain/lock/and 2 keys its alll comes together

Along with the Kryptonite lock I would suggest he carry a book bag and always put the seat and seatpost in it when leaving the bike somewhere.

Most thieves want to be able to drive away on the bike. Without the seat it makes it less likely it will be stolen.
