I bought a kryptolok series 2 STD lock for my bicycle and am filling out the registration form. There are two questions I don't know what to answer. They are:

KEY REGISTRATION
Key #

What do I write? I'm guessing one of them is on the keys provided with lock. On my key, it has two rows of numbers. Does each row correspond to the key registration / key #?

What do I write down on my form?

So far, I bought a Kryptonite u lock mini to lock my bike, but I've been researching that I should get a cable lock as well because thieves aren't really prepared for two different kinds of locks. So, during my first year at my university I made the grim mistake of using a cable lock on my bike. Well, I bet you can guess what happened....my bike was stolen.

I now have a new bike and am looking to purchase a more secure lock for it. Preferably a U-lock or chain lock. I would like to spend under or around $30. It would be nice if it had some anti-theft guarantee, but it is not mandatory.

The ones that I have found the most are Kryptonite and OnGuard, but I am sure that there are others.

What can you guys suggest for this price range?

i just bought a brand new bike and kryptonite wrap around lock. When i tried to change the combo from the programed factory one, it didn't go in all the way.

it now is in a posisiton where it is 4/5 of the way into the lock but wont budge. I've tried my combo i've set ands the factories multiple times.
Any suggestions on how to get my lock to open up?
